Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida
• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) therapy experience
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑centered approach
• Background screening through AHCA – https://info.flclearinghouse.com

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized Occupational Therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Supervise and direct Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to ensure effective execution of patient care plans.
• Communicate patient progress, needs, and goals with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely to support billing and payroll requirements.
• Support residents in regaining function, independence, and quality of life.
