About The Position
Unique Specialty hospital offering multidisciplinary rehab services to an 18 bed Long Term Acute Care Unit and 29 bed Acute Rehab Unit. Serving a wide variety of diagnosis from acute respiratory therapy , spinal cord injury, stroke and traumatic brain injury this therapy team offers extensive therapy to these patients progressing them to return to their highest level of functionality. OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary! In addition, OSF Healthcare qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- State license and National Board Certification Occupational Therapy registration
- Current state driver’s license for those providing Driving Evaluations
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information
- Analytical ability to evaluate patients' Occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner

- Previous work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid driver's license

- Candidate will receive an additional 40% of their hourly rate in addition to their base rate when working weekend hours.
- Position is also eligible for yearly annual increases.

- $5,000 - 2 year work commitment
- $10,000 - 3 year work commitment
