Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Complete functional and cognitive evaluations
- Develop individualized, resident-centered treatment plans
- Provide skilled OT interventions to promote independence and quality of life
- Educate residents, families, and staff on adaptive strategies and safe mobility
- Recommend assistive equipment and environmental modifications
- Lead therapeutic activities to enhance coordination, strength, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
