About The Position
We are hiring an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve the skills they need for day-to-day life. In this role, you will evaluate functional limitations, create treatment plans, and provide therapy that supports independence, safety, and progress. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys practical, patient-focused work and values steady collaboration with a clinical team.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
- Current NBCOT certification
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapy focused on daily living skills, mobility, coordination, and independence
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Educate patients and family members on home exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment
- Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate clinical records
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding treatment progress
