The Opportunity: Position: Full-Time Rate: Starting at $55.00 per hour (DOE) Location: Lone Tree Post Acute Benefits: Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and PTO) Your Clinical Impact: As a Staff OT, you are the architect of resident independence, focusing on functional recovery and quality of life. Rapid Evaluation: Conduct patient evaluations within 24 hours of physician referral to initiate the recovery process immediately. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, securing physician approval and monitoring progress. Supervisory Leadership: Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), therapy aides, and students, ensuring the highest standards of care. Restorative Training: Partner with the nursing department to train Restorative Aides and provide ongoing in-services for facility staff. Collaborative Care: Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Reviews, and Rehabilitation Conferences to ensure a multidisciplinary approach. Discharge Mastery: Lead discharge planning by instructing families and nursing staff on maintenance programs and facilitating the ordering of necessary durable medical equipment (DME). Compliance & Documentation: Maintain precise medical records, including daily notes, weekly progress reports, and recertifications in accordance with state and federal requirements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s or Doctorate Program graduates highly preferred. Licensure: Valid California Occupational Therapy License in good standing. Expertise: Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, and professional colleagues. Requirements
