Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Florida Occupational Therapist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience in acute care, inpatient, or rehab (must be specified)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Develop and implement patient-specific therapy goals
- Provide direct therapy services in acute, rehab, or inpatient settings
- Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support best outcomes
- Complete required documentation and comply with regulatory standards
- Participate in mandatory on-site onboarding and training sessions
