About The Position

Responsible for the evaluation and provision of occupational therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient/family/caregivers, staff, and student training; provides a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient/family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior. This is an inpatient casual position based in Minneapolis, with the possibility of floating to Mercy or St. Paul hospitals. Additionally, there is an opportunity to pick up outpatient shifts across the Twin Cities metro area if the candidate is interested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Minnesota state licensure.
  • Temporary Minnesota state licensure accepted if accompanied by proof of passing occupational therapy board examination.
  • BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred.
