About The Position

This position ensures that occupational therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. The Occupational Therapist provides patient evaluations and treatments for inpatient and/or outpatient services, along with associated clinical documentation. They are responsible for maintaining specific service delivery standards related to service commitment, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, quality process integration, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time, information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and the physical amenities/environment of care. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy, receiving applicable degree or certificate in occupational therapy course of study, with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Possession of a NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as an occupational therapist.
  • CPR certification within first 3 months of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree
  • Clinical experience in a hospital-based setting.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certified.
