About The Position

At Encompass, kids aren’t just clients—they’re explorers, creators, and problem-solvers. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you’ll be the guide who helps children (ages birth to 11 years old) discover their strengths, gain independence, and build confidence—all through playful, purposeful activities. You’ll join a multidisciplinary dream team (OTs, SLPs, PTs, mental health therapists, nurses, and educators) in a supportive, collaborative environment where we cheer each other on and celebrate every child’s milestones. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Valid Washington State OT license
Ability to work collaboratively and compassionately on a team
Pass state + federal background checks
First Aid & CPR (within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

Have pediatric experience (especially with birth–8 years old!)
Are bilingual (English/Spanish = Bonus)
Love bringing creativity, energy, and heart into therapy sessions

Responsibilities

Create and implement fun, goal-driven therapy plans that meet each child’s unique needs
Partner with families and encourage parent participation during sessions
Evaluate kiddos for services and write individualized goals & progress reports
Track progress, document treatment notes, and handle billing info (with support!)
Collaborate like crazy with your multidisciplinary teammates in meetings + consultations
Supervise COTAs and student interns
Stay inspired through team trainings + development opportunities
Jump into active play: floor time, obstacle courses, sensory activities, and more
