About The Position

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned. Inpatient care only Work Schedule: Casual; One weekend/month with 1-2 holidays/year. Preferred to have availability to cover during weekdays also with willingness to flex to other sites if needed. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school with a Doctorate, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license (Specific only to employees practicing in Wisconsin)
Current BLS- American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).
Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
Proficient in clinical equipment related to the area of expertise.
Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.

Nice To Haves

Recommend experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a medical setting.
Recommend membership in related professional organization such as the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA), or the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT).
