About The Position
Occupational Therapist - Children's Hospital of Richmond Glen Allen Therapy Center - PRN $2,500 Sign On Bonus for offers accepted by November 30, 2025. Terms and Conditions apply The Occupational Therapist PRN conducts evaluations on referred patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN plans and implements a comprehensive treatment program that includes discharge planning, patient/family education, and recommendations for follow-up or continued care. The Occupational Therapist PRN documents results of the OT evaluation and services provided in accordance with hospital and department guidelines. The Occupational Therapist PRN participates as a member of a self-directed departmental team as well as a member of an interdisciplinary patient care team. The Occupational Therapist PRN provides clinical instruction to OT and OTA students as needed. This position provides training and education to department and hospital staff. Schedules and work hours will be established with your specific Manager. Schedules, including weekends and holidays, will be required based on the unit's organizational and staffing needs. Age Specific groups served: As appropriate based on unit assignment. Physical Requirements (includes use of assistance devices as appropriate): Physical - Lifting 50-100 lbs. Activities: Frequent bending, Walking (distance), Climbing (steps, ladder, other), Reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive) Mental/Sensory: Strong recall, Reasoning, Problem solving, Hearing, Speak clearly, Write legibly, Reading, Logical thinking Emotional: Fast pace environment, Steady pace, Able to handle multiple priorities, Frequent and intense customer interactions, Noisy environment, Able to adapt to frequent change
Requirements
- Licensed (or licensed eligible) by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an Occupational Therapist
- Completion of licensing requirements for new graduates within 1 year of graduation.
- Maintenance of licensure once granted.
- Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area
- New graduate to up to 2 years of work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited School of Occupational Therapy

- Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy
