This fulfilling position involves conducting therapeutic evaluations, treatments, and interventions for children and adolescents. Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible for license by the Minnesota Department of Health required
  • Ability to pass DHS Background check
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License with acceptable record is preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel independently throughout the metro area within a reasonable amount of time is required
  • Eligible for membership in the appropriate national organization required
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection

Responsibilities

  • Provide evaluations and re-evaluations as appropriate and within 30 days of doctor's order, and establish appropriate treatment goals
  • Provide therapeutic treatment according to the doctor's order
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
  • Collaborates closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practitioners
  • Maintain clean equipment in good repair
  • Communicate with funding sources as directed by the Clinical Accounts Receivable staff to assure reimbursement of services being delivered
  • Communicate appropriate aspects of the client's program to all involved persons and operate in conjunction with other disciplines and team members
