About The Position

Occupational Therapist Recruiting for Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year At Helena Public schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a Occupational Therapist , you contribute to this mission by evaluating students to determine their functional levels and identify special needs. You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. Starting salary is $61,632.35-$70,833. This position will work during the normal school year.

Requirements

• Montana Occupational Therapist license at the time of employment
• Certification by National Registration Exam
• Successful candidates are regularly required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Implementation to meet the IEP goals
• Program planning and management
• Provide training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting
