About The Position

Occupational Therapist (OT) Reports To Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary Provides OT evaluations and treatments to patients with functional or adaptive needs to improve independence in daily living.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state OT license.
• Knowledge of OT interventions and rehab techniques.
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational ability.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current state license to practice Occupational Therapy is required and must be maintained in good standing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and establish treatment goals.
• Provide interventions such as self-care training and adaptive equipment.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress.
• Supervise COTAs and collaborate with care teams.
• Train caregivers and nursing staff.
