Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based 2025–2026 School Year | Full-Time | Possible Extension Through 2026–2027 School Year Location: School District (In-Person) Schedule: 7.5 hours/day | 37.5 hours/week Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $43–$46/hour Position Overview: We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students across four schools within the district for the 2025–2026 school year, with a potential extension into the 2026–2027 school year . Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state Occupational Therapist license or license-eligible prior to start date
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning skills with the ability to implement effective, individualized interventions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, student-centered approach
  • Ability to safely lift, assist, and support students as needed; must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks related to occupational therapy services throughout the workday

Responsibilities

  • Assess students’ physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning using clinical observations and standardized assessment tools
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Provide education and guidance to students, families, and school staff on functional skills, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and district requirements
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Advocate for student needs and assist with access to appropriate school and community resources
  • Travel between assigned school sites within the district as needed
