Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
- CPR certification.

Responsibilities
- Perform Occupational Therapy assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for specialized services.
- Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to create evidence-based interventions that promote student participation, access to education, and skill development.
- Deliver direct therapy services or oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in implementing IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students and support their growth.
