About The Position
McKinley Park Care Center is looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) who’s ready to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. If you’re motivated, team-oriented, and love helping people regain independence and confidence, we’d love to meet you!
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing (state requirements apply)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, motivated attitude and commitment to quality patient care
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing/post-acute experience is a plus (but not required!)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and create individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve strength, mobility, ADLs, and functional independence
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and discharge planning
- Document progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
- Educate residents and families on home programs and adaptive strategies
