AOT, Inc., the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services in southwestern Pennsylvania seeks a pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work full-time with school-age children in Lancaster, PA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with children, dedication to providing quality school-based services and be motivated to succeed in a highly, collaborative team environment. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited OT educational program.
- Valid Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
- Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
Responsibilities
- Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
- Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
- Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, yearly IEP revisions; including updated goals and treatment strategies.
- Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
- Some travel may be required throughout the school day
