Position Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and delivers evidence-based therapy to help patients regain independence and maximize function in daily living, work, and leisure activities. This role includes patient evaluation, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, patient education, and care coordination across the continuum of care.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
Connecticut OT license (or eligibility)
NBCOT® certification
CPR certification
Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations upon physician referral
Develop measurable, patient-centered treatment goals
Implement and adjust individualized therapy plans
Provide education to patients and caregivers
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for discharge and transition planning
Provide supervision to OT students, Rehabilitation Aides, and COTAs as appropriate
