The Occupational Therapist is part of a multidisciplinary team supporting deaf and hard of hearing children and their parents in a center-based EI and Preschool program. The OT at Clarke is responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing and conducting pediatric occupational therapy sessions to facilitate growth in sensory-motor, self-regulation and fine motor development and provide support to and collaboration with other professionals on each child’s team. The OT reports to the Director of Clarke School-New York. This position requires the use of clinical judgment, well developed communication skills, an understanding of Early Intervention Regulations and CPSE regulations and all related paperwork and reports and the ability to work well with coworkers and families of children.
