About The Position

Occupational Therapist I T3- Inpatient Therapy- PRN/As Needed Begin your story with ProHealth Care’s Occupational Therapy team. Shift length can range from 8-10 hours depending on the site and shift needs. Position includes weekend and holiday requirements. Position requirements include a minimum of 8 shifts per month total (weekday and weekend). Required 2-4 weekend shifts per month, 2 holidays per year, and 2 "hard to schedule" days per year. Primary location is Waukesha Memorial Hospital with shifts also at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago Hospital. The Department operates three inpatient service locations including Waukesha Memorial Hospital Campus, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago Hospital. These three locations combine to complete over 1,700 inpatient visits monthly. Clinical staff cares for patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, and medical diagnoses. The department has 13 occupational therapists, and 3 occupational therapy assistants. Requirements

  • Bachelors of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current BLS certification through AHA (or ability to obtain at time of hire).
  • Occupational Therapist licensure required through State of WI (OTR).
  • At least 1 year of occupational therapist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates individuals referred for occupational therapy services.
  • Establishes an occupational therapy diagnosis, prognosis, and plan of treatment.
  • Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment.
  • Collaborates with and provides consultation to others in care delivery.
