The Occupational Therapist (OT) conducts detailed assessments and analysis for all individuals on caseload annually, or as required, to determine the need for occupational therapy services. The OT is an Interdisciplinary Team Member who is required to participate in monthly review meetings, individual life plan meetings, and special team meetings. The OT will develop/implement/monitor dining plans, physical support plans, and sensory support plans. The OT will assist individuals with the transition process into the community. Perform staff training and mentoring. The Occupational Therapist will also have the opportunity to complete inpatient/outpatient (specialty intermediate care clinic) direct treatments and complete necessary documentation/billing.
