About The Position

The Occupational Therapist (OT) conducts detailed assessments and analysis for all individuals on caseload annually, or as required, to determine the need for occupational therapy services. The OT is an Interdisciplinary Team Member who is required to participate in monthly review meetings, individual life plan meetings, and special team meetings. The OT will develop/implement/monitor dining plans, physical support plans, and sensory support plans. The OT will assist individuals with the transition process into the community. Perform staff training and mentoring. The Occupational Therapist will also have the opportunity to complete inpatient/outpatient (specialty intermediate care clinic) direct treatments and complete necessary documentation/billing.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Occupational Therapist and the National Board of Occupational Therapy
  • Ability to meet criminal background and drug screening standards.
  • Must possess a valid driver s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
