Requirements

Bachelors of Science Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy program required.
Must have a current, valid Wyoming Occupational Therapy license and must be in good standing with the Board.
Must have successfully passed the NBCOT Board Certification Exam.
Must have current, valid Basic Life Support credential (BLS), or obtain within the first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with Ivinson.
Ability to elicit appropriate patient participation.
Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy and a helpful, professional attitude both in person and on the telephone.
Ability to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general public verbally and in writing.
Demonstrate effective listening skills.

Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision.
Ability to learn new computer software programs.

Nice To Haves

Previous Occupational Therapy experience in a hospital and/or outpatient clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs patient evaluations.
Determines functional and attainable goals.
Develops and implements appropriate treatment.
Monitors patient progress, adjusting treatment accordingly.
Provides education to the patient and caregivers.
Other duties as assigned
