About The Position
Home Health Care - PRN - East Side of Indy Be part of a dedicated therapy Team Easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potential in all areas of a patient's life
- work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy
- provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
