About The Position

We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are keen to develop their skills in a variety of clinical settings and thrive within the quick pace of a hospital environment. Occupational therapists will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following clinical areas: Inpatient rehabilitation, Acute Medical, Oncology, Palliative Care, Orthopaedics and Surgical.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
• Ability to effectively manage and balance a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate problem solving and clinical reasoning skills, considering broader implications and longer-term impacts.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive assessments
• Develop client centred, occupationally focussed treatment goals and intervention plans in collaboration with the patient, multidisciplinary team, and consulting physician
