About The Position

Macomb Post Acute Care Center is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a PRN or Part-Time role. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients and their families while delivering high-quality clinical care.

Requirements

• An active state Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Strong verbal and written skills to effectively advocate for your patients

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment goals to improve residents' motor skills and daily living activities
• Train patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses and progress
• Assess patient needs and maintain clear, accurate records of their journey toward recovery
• Act as a bridge between the clinical team and the patient's support system
