What you’ll do as an Occupational Therapist OT: Evaluate and assess individual patient needs, creating personalized treatment plans to inspire functional independence. Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic tools to improve motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, nursing staff) to provide comprehensive care. Educate and empower patients and their families, providing them with the knowledge and techniques to continue improving at home. Monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes and adjusting therapy plans for optimal recovery.
