About The Position

Speare Memorial Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Hampshire, is seeking a licensed and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current NH Occupational Therapy license (or eligible for licensure).
• NBCOT certification.
• Prior experience in both inpatient and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a diverse range of diagnoses and functional levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, physician orders, and clinical findings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers to support continued success outside of the hospital.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and performance improvement initiatives.
