About The Position

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a Elgin, IL school district to hire a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with one of the top districts in the area, providing services to children of all ages. Generally, the OT will address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions that impact a student's academics, self-care skills, play, and social participation, as well as transitional skills.

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois.
• Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting.

• Knowledge of special education processes and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to children of all ages in a school setting.
• Address motor skills, sensory processing, and cognitive functions affecting students' academics.
