About The Position

Join our team at National Therapy Center and help children achieve their full potential in school based settings! You will provide individualized occupational therapy to children to help them achieve their functional goals. You will use evidence-based practices to design and implement therapy sessions that address each child's unique needs. Collaborating with teachers, families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans is essential. Your input and teamwork will be crucial in creating comprehensive and holistic care plans. You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and maintain organized and accurate documentation. Keeping detailed records ensures that progress is tracked and interventions are adjusted as needed. Working closely with school staff will ensure seamless integration of therapeutic interventions within the educational setting, promoting overall success for the child. You will maintain 23-25 billable hours per week.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) in Maryland or DC.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
