About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services across two school sites. This role primarily supports an elementary school population , with limited high school support through indirect services. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and experienced in managing school-based caseloads.

Requirements

  • Special Services Provider (SSP) License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) – Must be in hand
  • Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
  • Ability to manage both direct and indirect service delivery models
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services in school settings aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Deliver primarily direct services to elementary students (Pre-K through 5th grade)
  • Provide indirect services to high school students as required
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support student development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, administrators, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and progress reviews
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
  • Effectively manage and organize caseloads across multiple school sites
  • Communicate with district support staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Adhere to district policies and ethical standards for school-based therapy services
