About The Position

Freeman Rehabilitation Services offers inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy in multiple locations. Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments. They use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation. Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics, and work performance rehabilitation.

Requirements

  • Current Missouri Occupational Therapy License.

Responsibilities

  • Independently evaluates patients.
  • Develops a treatment plan based on goal-directed objectives.
  • Delivers and documents care.
  • Provides discharge planning on all physician-referred patients.
  • Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff.
  • Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies/procedures.
