The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients in compliance with licensure standards. The Occupational Therapist works with an interdisciplinary team contributing to patient goal development, care planning and identifying barriers to discharge. The therapist provides patient centered care and ensures to educate the patient/family on treatment procedures, assistive devices, home programs and other topics related to their health and well-being.
