Provides skilled Occupational Therapy Services to patients in the Outpatient, Inpatient, LTAC settings. Evaluates patient's status and needs, plans and establishes realistic short term and long term goals/outcomes. Implements OT programs, progresses programs, and provides treatment as indicated. Revaluates patient's physical and cognitive status regularly. Communicates and documents patient care activities, assessment results and needs. Provides education/guidance to patient/family/caregivers, significant other(s) and staff members as appropriate. Collaborates treatment with hospital department/personnel and external agencies. Maintains equipment and supply needs and organizes work area. Supervises COTAs, provides clinical instruction to students, and supervises observers and volunteers.
