JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides professional occupational therapy services to OMC customers. Acts in a manner consistent with the State’s professional practice act for occupational therapy as well as with OMC’s policies and procedures. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed programs to restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach their maximum performance. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and is able to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. Interprets the patient data in order to develop a treatment plan and provide the care needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent required.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist or license eligible in the state of Washington, required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or training strongly encouraged.
  • One year clinical experience preferred.
