About The Position

The Occupational Therapist PRN position at Amberwell Hiawatha involves providing occupational therapy services aimed at restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing performance through goal-directed, purposeful activities. The therapist will facilitate the learning of adaptive skills for individuals of all ages who have physical disabilities, psychological impairments, deficits in self-care due to age or pathology, and/or developmental disabilities. The therapy is designed to maximize independence, prevent further disability, and maintain health.

Requirements

• Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Kansas License or eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current valid driver's license and proof of insurance for vehicle.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in rehabilitation services is preferred.
