Since 1953, South Florida Baptist Hospital has been a trusted and loved hospital for all our community's health and wellness needs. Our new 204-bed replacement hospital that opened in the Spring of 2024 offers many more services than a standard community hospital, as we're part of the BayCare family of health care facilities. Occupational Therapist Pool Responsibilities:

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OT (Occupational Therapy)
• Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 1-year Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and improve independence in activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehab professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety standards.
