Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in New York State.
• Experience in home health care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, therapeutic, age-appropriate occupational therapy to assist patients in restoring or improving functional physical abilities.
• Promote cognitive and behavioral changes in patients.
• Adapt surroundings to achieve optimal levels of daily life tasks (ADL/IADL).
• Use clinical expertise to plan delivery of care through examination, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
