This role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to children and adolescents with a wide range of developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary outpatient setting. This position will also work within specialized multidisciplinary clinics, including the NICU Clinic, Cerebral Palsy and Spina Bifida Clinic, Functional Movement Disorder Program, and Neuromuscular Clinic. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • License or Certification Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist.
  • NBCOT certification as an OTR is required for employment at Mayo Clinic (both upon hiring and ongoing certification every 3 years).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of children and families
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field.
  • Also prefer active participation within professional organization.

Responsibilities
