Requirements

  • B.S. Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
  • Minimum of 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
  • Internal candidates must attain a 3.25 PE (prior year), have no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and other government regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of various age groups including neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Provides patient and family education regarding occupational therapy programs and treatments.
  • Exercises courtesy and patience in communication with patients, families, medical personnel, and others to ensure quality customer service.
