Requirements

• Masters Degree (or equivalent) from an AOTA accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Flexibility to commute within a reasonable time/distance.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient/child's fine motor and sensory skills for the purpose of identifying disorders.
• Develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials.
• Educate the patient/child and/or family about their disorders and recommend accommodations to be implemented.
• Provide families information on the use of appropriate aids, strategies, and technologies for the purpose of minimizing adverse impacts.
• Complete evaluations and annual reviews.
• Write individualized goals for each patient or child.
