Requirements

  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop effective, individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy and guide Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Communicate with the care team regarding patient progress and goals
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques
  • Recommend adaptive equipment to promote independence
