The Opportunity: Position: Occupational Therapist (OTR) Location: White Blossom Care Center — San Jose, CA Compensation: Up to $65.00 per hour (DOE) Availability: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Program: Stable, In-House Therapy (Not a contract agency) New Graduates: Welcome & Encouraged to Apply! Your Impact & Responsibilities: Evaluations & Treatment: Develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans and provide skilled interventions as prescribed by referring physicians. Clinical Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with California State Practice Acts. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review, and Rehabilitation meetings to ensure holistic resident care. Expert Documentation: Maintain precise records, including evaluations, daily notes, and recertification documentation per OT Board requirements. Independence & Equipment: Facilitate the ordering and training of durable medical equipment (DME) such as braces, walkers, and ADL aids to promote patient safety and independence. Education: Instruct families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure successful discharge planning.
