JOB DESCRIPTION Evaluates patient’s functional status (muscular function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self-care ability, work capacity). Evaluates home environment for hazards or barriers to more independent living. Reporting to physician and case manager of patient’s reaction to treatment or changes on condition. For patients who plan to return to work, the occupational therapist may perform work capacity evaluation and may refer to specialized vocational training. Develops treatment program and establishes goals for improved function. Communicates plan of care to referring physician and case manager. May teach new skills or retrain patient in once familiar daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury. May fabricate splints and instruct in the use of various types of adaptive equipment to improve function. Prepare and submit clinical progress summaries based on the attainment of goals and attends and participates in in-services, case conference, and patient care conferences. What makes us unique? Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in CA
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance and dependable vehicle
  • Minimum 1 year experience.

  • Home Health setting preferable.
  • Strong assessment skills
