About The Position

A Staff Occupational Therapist is a registered therapist who, under general
supervision, is responsible for therapeutic management of a specific caseload of
patients from admission through discharge via evaluation, treatment planning and
implementation.

Requirements

• Current OT license in state of Florida
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience preferred, will consider a new grad
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
• Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses
• Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
• Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing
• Promote evidence based patient care
