About The Position

We are currently searching for an Occupational Therapist (OT) at our skilled nursing facility. As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our residents by helping them regain or maintain independence in daily activities. Requirements

• Must be a Occupational Therapist (OT) with a valid state license
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate residents' needs, abilities, and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with other departments, including nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide training and education to residents and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy for geriatric populations.
