About The Position

Join a newly established acute care hospital in Gainesville and play a key role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance overall quality of life following illness or injury. Requirements

• Open to all experience levels; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support recovery and independence
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, and home care strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Support and mentor therapy assistants and students as appropriate
