Position Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing therapy team in the Wichita area. This role provides skilled occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services to patients in their homes, helping them improve functional abilities, safety, and overall quality of life.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (required)
  • Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) (required)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and time-management abilities
  • Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently in a home health setting
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Valid Kansas OT license
  • Reliable Vehicle
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must pass a background check
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a confidential working relationship
  • Good personal organizational skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Demonstration of satisfactory knowledge and competency for the initial evaluations, delivery of services, treatments, and teaching.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
  • Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to address ADLs, IADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety
  • Assess home environments and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient responses in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety strategies, and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as applicable
  • Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements
