About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapeutic services to students within a school district setting. The OT will support students in developing fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing abilities to enhance their academic performance and overall functional independence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and motor development needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Deliver therapy sessions to improve functional and academic-related skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on accommodations and therapeutic strategies.
