About The Position

Our outpatient clinics provide therapeutic treatment to patients across the lifespan. From pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between, you name it and we treat it! Our team is comprised of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, all collaborating in order to help patients achieve their goals! We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are proactive, creative, and ready to join a tight knit team of individuals providing positive patient experiences to those in and around our community. Job Summary Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition and establishes a plan of care. Provides therapeutic interventions appropriate to the age and disability of the patient. Documents delivery of Occupational Therapy services. Educates patients, family, caregivers, significant others, and staff members. Directs and supervises activities of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel. Promotes physical rehabilitation services through community/system based education activities, marketing opportunities, and support groups. Accepts the role of a Clinical Instructor to supervise/educate students from accredited occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant programs. Participates in planning for the provision of patient care services. Provides staff in-service upon returning from continuing education or professional conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Science in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners or a graduate OT eligible for Oklahoma licensure/temporary license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
